Whether you have a Halloween party planned or you want just create a mysterious and festive tablescape, I have some fun ideas for you!
I am excited to share this mysterious Halloween tablescape with you!
I am not typically one to decorate for Halloween, but I decided to get a little creative this year! I love building tablescapes and this one was so fun and different for me!
I shopped at JOANN for this tablescape and found some Halloween pieces plus other decor pieces to complete the look!
Since I am not a big Halloween decorator, I created something a little untraditional when it comes to Halloween decor. I went with mysterious and magical rather than spooky and scary and I love it!!
I started by laying down this gorgeous, deep amethyst fabric from JOANN. It has a beautiful pattern on it that reminded me of spider webs and I thought it would be so perfect as the first layer of the tablescape.
I then layered this cobweb like fabric on top of the amethyst fabric to give the tablerunner some dimension and movement. I thought it kind of looked smoky and mysterious! I fluffed it up all around the pieces on the tablescape to create some height.
Next, I used these black velvet candlesticks all from JOANN in varying heights (large) and (small). I used pillar candles on top in white. I also added smaller black taper candlesticks along with taper candles to fill in more of the tablescape.
I found really fun, moody purple vases that have some texture on the bottom. I filled them with faux creamy hydrangeas to break up all the blacks and purples.
I thought these silver glitter crackle white pumpkins (large, tall, medium) were the perfect mysterious touch to create some fun texture. Again, I think the glitter pattern looks like eery cobwebs!
Lastly, I sprinkled in some cute little dried flowers to tie into the place cards I created.
For the place settings, I kept it pretty simple! I used a cake board as the charger in a shimmery silver color to bring in the silver from the pumpkins. I used some white plates on top and then made these fun DIY place cards/napkin rings.
You can find all the details on how to create these places cards that double as napkin rings on the JOANN app by clicking here.
I am so happy with how this Halloween tablescape turned out! It’s making me want to decorate for Halloween every year!
If you haven’t checked out JOANN for their Halloween decor, you definitely should! They have tons of different items that will fit your style!
Do you decorate for Halloween? Do you host any fun Halloween parties?
