I love creating tablescapes. I think they’re fun and creative. I came up with this warm and cozy fall tablescape using a bunch of pieces from a new collection with Our Place. The terra cotta color really inspired me to put everything together.
A few of you from IG, had asked me to create a tablescape using the new dishes I got when I was sharing them last week so I got to thinking and came up with this. I love how it turned out.
I’m loving these warm tones for fall, it just feels so cozy and inviting. First, I knew I wanted to use this tablecloth. I love the beige and white check pattern. It’s subtle, but also a fun texture and base for the tablescape.
Next, I laid out all the large dinner plates. The terracotta against the beige tablecloth is such a nice look for fall. I laid the medium plates on top of the larger ones.
I had these napkins from years ago and thought they were a good touch of color. I also liked the mixed look of the glasses.
For the centerpiece, I used one of the platters with a couple plants because I always love incorporating plants! These battery operated candles have been a favorite this fall season so I knew they had to be put to use in this tablescape.
On either side of the centerpiece, I wanted to include more of the tableware pieces so that if this was a real dinner party, it would be easy to grab all the things we need while also using the pieces as decor. So, on the right side, I put down a wooden cutting board to break up all of the terracotta and beige and to add some more texture. On top, I put the water pitcher and the low bowls.
On the left side, I put a bowl of apples—more for decor, but I think they are beautiful for the fall season. I also put a wicker basket full of mugs for after dinner coffee, plus I love the mugs as decor as they’re such a fun shape.
I just love how this turned out! What do you think?
