4 Year House Anniversary
Today marks the 4 year anniversary since we closed on our house!

I can’t believe we are celebrating the 4 year anniversary since buying our house—we have done so much and made tons of memories here!
As you probably know, we tried selling our house last year. See here for the latest update. This kind of put a halt on the projects since we didn’t plan to be here another year, however plans changed so we did do a few minor things to the house.
GIULIETTA’S NURSERY
We didn’t plan to be here when Gigi was born so she didn’t have a nursery up until about 2-3 months ago. We gave our guest room a little facelift to make it more fun for a baby. We added Gigi’s crib, some artwork, and new light fixtures. See the guest room before HERE.
MASTER BATHROOM
Before listing the house last year, we updated the master bathroom with lots of new paint. That instantly helped to transform our dated bathroom into something a bit brighter. We didn’t want to put a ton of work into the bathroom because we planned on moving, but the paint was such a dramatic change. See the makeover HERE.
SMALL UPDATES
We did several small updates such as fixing the front steps which had some damage from the winter. We replaced the lights in our bedroom to give it a more modern look. Switched up the decor a ton all around the house.
Most importantly, this year we brought home our little Giulietta! She was the best update to our home this year and I’m actually glad we brought her home to our first house we owned. She may not remember living here, but we will remember that she was a part of our first house which is pretty special!
Now, here’s to hoping this house sells quickly this year so we can start our next adventure in a new home!
