2 Year House Anniversary
Today marks the 2 year anniversary since we closed on our house!
See all the updates we completed in year 1, HERE.
For our 2 year house anniversary, I thought I would walk you through everything we completed this year!
I literally cannot believe it's already been 2 years of living here! It feels like I blinked & it's been 2 years. Since closing, we have added a little baby & a puppy! We are real adults now LOL! We always wanted a home to raise our family in & now that we are growing our family, this house takes on a whole new meaning.
We always loved the house, obviously, but ever since bringing Dominic home, we love the house even more! This is where Dominic was born, where he smiled & laughed first, where he tried food first, where he rolled, slept in his crib, cried, & played FIRST! I am getting goosebumps just writing these words.
Whether this is our forever home or not, this house will always have a special place in my heart for those reasons. The memories we have already created here will last forever! I know that the memories are only going to grow as Dominic grows! We can't wait for this summer to use the pool & to see Dominic try out swimming for the first time!
Anyways, I wanted to show you all the improvements we've made the past couple of years with some before & after shots! Some of the before photos are from the listing on Zillow so you can really see the difference from when we moved in to now. It's amazing what some sweat equity can do! ENJOY!

We have painted every single room in the house with the exception of our master bathroom & guest bedroom. Not shown here, but we have painted the guest bathroom & powder bathroom. It is so fun looking back & seeing all that we have done in 2 short years. We still have some things we want to do in the future. Major things: replace the kitchen back splash & depending on how long we plan to be here, the counter tops, replace the lighting in the kitchen, replace the vanity/toilet in the powder bathroom, replace the vanity in the guest bathroom, paint our master bathroom, & paint the guest bedroom. There are of course lots of minor projects, but those we can DIY & do over time.
I encourage you all to look back at your house when you first bought it & see all that has changed. It truly is amazing!!
Hope you enjoyed this stroll down memory lane with me!
Thank you for stopping by the blog!
