Simple Fall Kitchen
I am so excited to have an updated kitchen to decorate for Fall this year, however I am keeping it very simple!
See our porch, dining room, and living room all styled with very traditional fall colors.
Come take a peek inside of our simple fall kitchen!
I am honored to be hopping along with some sweet ladies who are sharing lots of other Fall inspiration! Be sure to check out the rest of the tours linked at the bottom of my post :) A huge thank you to Kendra, Joy in Our Home for hosting this beautiful tour!
I’ve never really decorated our kitchen seasonally since I didn’t love my kitchen prior to the updates we have done recently. But now that we have updated our kitchen, I cannot be stopped!
With that being said though, I kept things so simple in here this Fall! I wanted our kitchen to be clean with minimal upkeep. We cook in here and live in here so I wanted it to be functional at all times.
When I think of Fall, I think of warm apple crisp freshly baked and out of the oven. The whole house just fills with such a yummy aroma and it is so cozy feeling.
I love the idea of decorating with produce and groceries, therefore, I used the apple crisp as decor on the counter. It is the best type of decor because you can eat it! It makes such a pretty statement on the counter, I think!
On the island, I laid down a couple dishtowels as a table runner and placed my favorite ironstone pieces down the center. I love using the baby boo pumpkins throughout my fall decor. They are so inexpensive, but add in the perfect Fall touch.
My favorite greenery for Fall is eucalyptus! It smells amazing and is such a pretty color. I used a milk glass vase filled with a couple stems of fresh eucalyptus as the centerpiece on the island to complete the entire tablescape.
Around the sink, I filled up a big ironstone bowl with apples we picked at the orchard so they are easy to grab when we want a snack. I brought in my old, rusty scale to bring in some earthy tones. I also added some extra apples and baby boo pumpkins on the shelf above the sink to add some small Fall touches.
My favorite Fall decorating tips:
Use fresh produce: apples and/or pumpkins
Use baked goods: apple crisp, pies, applesauce
Use pretty greens: eucalyptus, olive branches, sage
Keep it simple
Use a mix of neutrals and traditional Fall colors
I hope this inspires you to spruce up your kitchen a bit for Fall! it doesn’t have to interfere with the functionality of your kitchen and still look beautiful!
