Of course we want to keep our family as safe as possible so we have implemented some things in our new house to do just that!
INSIDE SAFETY
Giulietta is on the move and wants to go everywhere Dominic goes. This has caused us to baby proof the house so that it’s safe for both of them.
We plugged all of the lower outlets with covers. We have removed anything breakable from eye level and lower. We’ve put toys in easy to access areas.

We only use Young Living cleaning supplies throughout our entire home. They’re all natural with no toxins so I feel good about using them around the kids and Freddy. GRAB YOUR KIT HERE and I will help you get set up with the Thieves cleaning supplies.
We had the electrician install GFCI outlets in the kitchen and 1 bathroom which didn’t have any.
Our baby gates from The Stair Barrier have been amazing! With 2 sets of stairs, we needed these gates to keep the kiddos from going up or down the stairs when we don’t want them to. We love The Stair Barrier gates and had one in our last home too. They are easy to install and look so pretty in your home. We went with Farmhouse Lines Black in the wall to wall option. They look so good and they work so well. There are so many fabric choices to choose from and they can fit almost any stairwell with their different options.

OUTSIDE SAFETY
We are so thankful that our home is in a very safe neighborhood. We’ve met some of our neighbors and they are very sweet.
We also had the electrician install GFCI outlets around our deck and front yard.
We have trimmed back many overgrown trees and shrubs to protect our home from any destruction. We want to wait until the spring to see what blooms to decide on what we really want to add and/or remove.
John Paul fixed part of the fence that was broken to keep the kids and Freddy in the yard.
I hope these ideas are helpful for you if you are looking to do some home safety updates. Most required no outside help which was so nice.
