Chocolate and Peanut Butter Cake Mix Cookies

These chocolate and peanut butter cake mix cookies are so delicious and super simple to whip together!

I made these chocolate and peanut butter cake mix cookies for our little playdate and they were a hit among the kids and moms!

My Mom introduced me to cake mix cookies a couple weeks ago. I have been excited to try out a variety of different flavors ever since!

I love the chocolate and peanut butter combo so I thought I would give this a try and they came out so delicious!

CAKE MIX COOKIES RECIPE

Makes about 30 cookies

Ingredients:

• 1 box of chocolate cake mix

• 1 cup of peanut butter

• 2 eggs

• 1 cup of chocolate and peanut butter chips

• 1/2 cup of applesauce (secret ingredient!)

• 2 tablespoons of water

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

2. Combine all the ingredients and mix well

3. Drop the cookie dough by tablespoon onto a cookie sheet

4. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until they are set in the middle

5. Allow to cool on a cooling rack

6. ENJOY!

Just a warning, these can be quite addicting!! They’re a little ‘healthier’ with the applesauce instead of oil ;)

There are so many different mix ins or cake mixes you could use! I love that they are so versatile!
