Farmgirl Flowers

Happy day-after Valentine's Day!!

Today when I came home, I had a surprise waiting at my door!  It was flowers from my sweet hubby, John Paul from Farmgirl Flowers.  He is so thoughtful & is always coming up with some surprise for me.  I am a lucky girl to call him my husband!

I had told John Paul last week about wanting some flowers from Farmgirl Flowers & he said when he looked them up it was too late to order for Valentine's Day.  I was totally ok with that because Valentine's Day has never been a huge deal to me.  {Plus, we are saving money because we are getting a puppy at the end of April!!!!}  Little did I know this was all a ploy to get me thinking I wasn't getting any flowers.

Fast forward to Valentine's Day & we exchanged some meaningful cards & chocolate & went on a fun date night.  It was the perfect day: simple & sweet, just how I like it.

Then today, the sweetest package arrived & I was so giddy ALL day that I had to share these gorgeous blooms with you all.

They are seriously STUNNING!  Way better than I could have ever imagined.  I love that they are not traditional looking, fresh cut flowers.  They come wrapped up in recycled burlap from local coffee roasters.  I took the burlap & hung it from my little ladder in my living room because I could not part with it.  The flowers are so fresh that as soon as I opened the box, I could instantly smell them!  Each bouquet is unique & whimsical.  Mine has some roses, lillies, decorative kale, berries, greenery, & some flowers that I don't know the name of LOL.  I just love the farmhouse look of them & how they blend so well with my decor.

I didn't want to take the burlap off of them, but I adore them in this copper pitcher from  Pier 1.  Just adds a little more rustic & farmhouse charm to the flowers.

Check out Farmgirl Flowers website & their Instagram because it is full of inspiration.  I would have loved to use them for my wedding bouquet.  I think I am a little obsessed now!!

Have a great evening!

Thank you for checking out the blog!
